Jared is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Northern Wisconsin who utilizes a blend of folk and jam-band to create a unique sound using FX pedals for real-time song creation. During his performance, he will be playing instrumental versions of his EP 'Illusions of Diamonds' and his latest work in-progress, 'To Be and To Be Amazed.' He will also be covering tracks from Neil Young, U2, Dave Matthews and more.
The Musician
Jared Kay is a songwriter and instrumentalist living in Northern Vilas County. Having performed in bands and as a solo musician for the better part of two decades, JK brings a percussive and refreshing sound to his musical compositions. Utilizing an acoustic guitar and a myriad of effects pedals, Jared Kay creates what he calls “a wall of sound” to compliment his intuitive songwriting. It is something you have to hear to believe.
